Dr. Truong is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. He joined Pennsylvania Retina Specialists in 2007 upon completion of his fellowship. He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog.   He is an avid tennis player and a budding amateur photographer. He enjoys traveling and working on his quest to visit all the National Parks sites, as well as supporting his favorite football teams.

Dr. Truong served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Holy Spirit Hospital from 2014 until 2019. Dr. Truong is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, the Central Pennsylvania Ophthalmology Society, the American Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
